SLOP Age & Minimum-Age Notice

SLOP is for people age 13 and older.

Normal SLOP social use

SLOP does not require Stripe, a government-issued ID, or a live selfie just to watch the live SLOP feed, access profiles, comment, use Viewer Rank, follow, post, upload, or use creator editing tools.

At signup, SLOP asks for a date of birth and performs the minimum-age decision server-side. If the entered date indicates an age under 13, SLOP does not create the account. SLOP may use temporary device-level anti-evasion holds after an under-13 entry.

SLOP should retain a minimized age-screening result/age band instead of exposing the raw birthday as ordinary profile data.

Child-safety age concerns after signup

If SLOP receives credible first-person information from the account itself indicating that the account holder may be under 13, the account can be temporarily restricted and sent to child-safety review. Public content and payout-qualified engagement may be held while the concern is unresolved.

Creator money and Stripe

Stripe/provider identity, tax, payout and payout-age checks belong to the creator money workflow. They are not a prerequisite for normal SLOP social features. A creator can build an earnings balance before payout onboarding is complete, but cannot withdraw until the required payout/compliance checks are satisfied.
