SLOP Creator Monetization Terms

These terms supplement the SLOP Terms of Service for creator earnings, Official Creator applications, advertising revenue allocation, and withdrawals.

Earnings can accrue before verification

Eligible creator earnings may accrue from past and present videos even when the creator is not yet verified or an Official Creator. Official Creator is an optional recognition badge and is not a requirement to earn or withdraw legitimate funded earnings. Accrued amounts remain inaccessible for withdrawal until all applicable payout, provider, security, funding, tax, identity, age, and phone-verification gates are satisfied.

Viewer Rank rate

A video needs at least 100 anti-fraud-qualified Viewer Rank ratings plus 1,000 payout-qualified verified views before its daily earning rate can activate. A view or Viewer Rank qualifies only after the viewer has completed at least five seconds of actual video playback in the same signed playback session and the activity passes SLOP Shield checks. Paused, stalled, hidden-tab, duplicated, automated, creator-self, or otherwise invalid time/activity does not qualify. At approximately 1:00 AM Central, SLOP snapshots the video’s verified average rating and locks the rate for the next payout period. Under the current formula, a 3.4 verified rating corresponds to a $0.034 RPM for that period. Verified views earn proportionally: for example, 300 verified views at $0.034 RPM earn $0.0102.

Launch distribution

While a video is below either 1,000 public qualified views or 100 public qualified Viewer Rank ratings, it remains eligible for SLOP's launch distribution pool. Launch-pool eligibility means SLOP may continue placing the video in eligible feeds ahead of mature videos; it is not a guarantee that people will watch, rank, engage with, or earn money from the video, and it does not promise completion within any period. Once both thresholds are met, verified Viewer Rank is the primary mature-feed ordering signal, together with integrity, safety, eligibility, blocking, age-partition, and availability controls.

SLOP may update program rates prospectively. A displayed rate is not a promise of future rates or ad demand.

Verified engagement only

Bot, bought, farmed, coordinated, self-generated, duplicate, suspicious, invalid, or otherwise disqualified traffic may be rejected, held, reversed, or excluded from earnings. Public counters and payout-qualified counters may differ.

Official Creator application

Official Creator is an optional recognition program. Current eligibility to apply requires at least 1,000 verified followers, 1,000,000 lifetime verified views, and required SLOP account verification. Meeting thresholds allows an application; it does not guarantee approval. Official Creator status does not control ordinary earnings accrual or withdrawal eligibility.

Withdrawal gates

Withdrawal does not require Official Creator approval. Withdrawal requires a real funded Creator Pool balance, Stripe/provider payout identity confirming the account holder is at least 17, completed tax setup, government-ID verification, verified phone number, payout-provider onboarding/eligibility, a trusted device, withdrawal security confirmation, and clearance of applicable SLOP Shield holds. Additional compliance checks may be required by law or payment providers. Users age 13-16 may accrue eligible creator earnings but cannot cash them out. A creator age 17 may cash out only after Stripe/provider verification is complete and any provider-required legal-guardian or other minor-account requirements are satisfied.

Age and legal capacity

Payout enrollment is subject to age-of-majority, tax, payment-provider, and local-law rules. Current SLOP code requires provider-confirmed age 17+ for cash withdrawal. Being 17 does not waive Stripe, guardian, age-of-majority, tax, banking, or local-law requirements; if the provider requires a legal guardian for a minor account, payout remains locked until that requirement is completed. Accrual shown in the app does not waive those requirements.

Funding, reservations, and monthly payout day

Creator payouts are funded from SLOP revenue allocated to the creator program. A creator's legitimate saved balance may exceed the amount currently funded in the Creator Pool. In that case, the creator may request no more than the currently funded amount available to that creator.

A confirmed withdrawal request immediately becomes pending and reserves that amount from the creator's available balance and the unreserved Creator Pool. SLOP processes pending creator withdrawals on the 1st of each month. A successful provider transfer becomes paid. A definitively failed provider transfer releases the reservation and returns the amount to available balance. If the provider result is uncertain, SLOP may keep the reservation pending and retry the same idempotent transfer rather than risk paying twice.

Estimated or accrued amounts may be adjusted for advertiser invalid-traffic corrections, refunds, chargebacks, duplicate revenue, fraud, accounting mistakes, taxes/withholding, legal obligations, or policy violations. SLOP must not knowingly pay out fraudulent engagement.

No guaranteed income

SLOP does not guarantee human views, ratings, completion of launch thresholds, ad fill, RPM, revenue, Official Creator approval, or a minimum income. Creator activity may produce no earnings.

Taxes

Creators are responsible for taxes unless law requires SLOP or a payment provider to collect, report, or withhold them. Required tax documentation must be completed before withdrawal.

Enforcement and appeals

Fraud, manipulation, infringement, unsafe content, or other serious policy violations may lead to holds, reversals, demonetization, Official Creator revocation, or account enforcement. Eligible decisions may be appealed through SLOP’s Appeals process.
